A great time in Brazil

Hello everybody, hope you are all doing well and thank you very much for stopping by.

It's has been a long time since I last sent you news and I apologize for that. It so happened that I looked at my diary and realized I had time to pay a good visit to Brazil, where I could hug, kiss and spend time with loved ones, so off I went. Joel had to be there on business, so it was all together very good timing.

This time I dedicated most of my time in São Paulo and Campinas, cities that I had not been in almost a decade! I just couldn't it believe when I made the maths... madre mia madre santa... such a long time!

Although it feels like it's never enough time when you are with people you love and love being around, I came back home with a comfortable feeling that I had had a one on one talk with almost everybody I had planned to. All good, very good. Unfortunately I did not have my camera on me at all times so ended up not having pictures of everybody I saw... that was a pity. Missing here pictures of many of you who I saw. I am seriously sorry about that! Thank you very much for all of you, family and friends. I really appreciate the time you made in your diaries so that we could have a one on one chat/ fun.
During my check in back in Rio, I was out in the air and managed to leave my travel wallet on the counter... ouch, only took notice of it when I went for my Panamanian ID at immigration on this side. Poor dad, had to go back to the airport in Rio to retrieve it for me... honestly, what don't parents do for their children and best of all, with a big smile on their faces... tell me tell me!! Thank you very much daddy!

Now, back in Panama life has resumed in a good way, meeting new people plus a photography course for studio shooting.

I know I am still owing you some Peruvian pictures... they are coming very soon. For the time being, enjoy these pictures shot in Brazil.

An outing along Parque do Flamengo with mom,

Me at Parque do Flamengo.

Joel, ecstatic at the beauty of
this world wide post card.
Doggies moment. This is "Zé" dad's dog who is,
together with "Carolina" (below), well kept and
well spoiled by my brother Mario. They are so so
gorgeous and cute, in spite their size!

Sweet Carolina, who is undergoing
chemotherapy, hence the lack of hair.

Me and the two of them.

My brother Mario, Carolina and myself.

This is "Tina" my Kerr cousins fantastic boxer...
madre mia... Carlota and her are so alike,
ha ha ha, I guess it's a boxer thing.
Loved meeting her.

With Marcia and her husband Marco. Marcia
and I have been friends since the mid 70's.

With Renato and Neusinha. That was a great
surprise. He is my third cousin and Neusa an old
friend from college. She and I used to be VERY
similar to the point that people in college would
say hello to me thinking they were saying hello
to her and vice verse. This trip I found out they
are dating. I so love the surprises life brings us!

With Steve, representing here his dear family.
They still have a farm where we used to go
weekend after weekend, where pure fun was the
name of the game! Great memories from
the days at "Pau d'alho". Loved meeting their
(Steve is married to Eva) three sons and in laws.

With some of the family in São Paulo.

A bit of beautiful Rio de Janeiro for you.
